Hospice care is an appropriate and compassionate choice when a client and family are facing life-limiting illness and no longer desire aggressive curative treatment. A*MED Community Hospice utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to provide services for their clients and families. Through meeting the numerous needs of our clients and families, we strive to enable the client to live life to the fullest extent possible and the family to adjust to life after their loss.

Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have a current Texas License as an RN in good standing.
- Two (2) years clinical experience (in a professional setting such as a hospital, long term care/rehab facility, or home health). Previous palliative care experience preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of home health and implementation of plan of care, coordination and service delivery, and community resources knowledge.
- Effective written and oral communication skills are required.
- Must be able to function effectively as a team member.
- Meets continuing education requirements by Texas Board of Registered Nursing.
- Knowledge of Long Term Care Facility regulations as they relate to hospice care.
