Purpose:

The RN is responsible for delivering quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Maintains patient confidentiality
    • Performs triage of patients and prioritizes care needs
    • Utilizes nursing process effectively in assessing patient needs and planning appropriate follow-up/intervention
    • Documents assessment and interventions thoroughly and concisely
    • Develops patient education materials, triage protocols, and clinical guidelines in collaboration with physicians
    • Uses computer system efficiently and accurately
    • Provides patient/staff education
    • Oversees Paramedics and Certified Medical Assistants
    • Performs specialty procedures as trained and as needed, including, but not limited to:
    • IV therapy
    • Medication administration
    • EKGs
    • Assists with procedures

  • Other duties as assigned by Clinical Manager
