8 hours a day
NO Weekends, Holidays, or Call – Only Monday to Friday
Practice Independently in an extremely friendly facility.
Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for preparing the patient for and providing post-operative care after surgery.
Provides patient care, administer medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients.
Provides appropriate counsel and education to patient/family regarding disease process and symptom management.
Consults with members of the health care team, adjusting nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Assists the health care provider with examinations, procedures, prescription refills, and other processes related to direct patient care.
What Skills are Needed?
Advocate in maintaining a clean, neat, and cheerful environment where our patients feel comfortable.
Utilize the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating a plan of patient care.
Maintain required skills and competencies and participates in education programs, staff meetings, and in-services such as CPR as required.
Maintain medical records requiring appropriate and timely recording of patient information.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- 1-year experience working in outpatient/inpatient nursing.
- Valid and current California RN License (Department Consumer Affairs)
- Valid BLS certificate (American Heart Association)
- Valid ACLS certificate (American Heart Association)
Preferred:
- Experience in the Ophthalmology Industry with multiple Surgery Center locations.
- Experience with Regulatory and Accreditation Surveys (AAAHC Accreditation).
