This position reports to Practice Administrator and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CMA, AAMA, RMA, CNMA, or CCMA Medical Assistant certification required. Cooley Dickinson Medical Group Medical Assistants hired prior to 9/1/09 are grandfathered into their current position without being required to have a Medical Assistant certification
- CPR certification from a program approved by the American Heart Association required
- One (1) year technical/vocational training school program or one (1) to three (3) years experience as a medical assistant preferred
