JOB: Referral Development Manager (RDM) for Flow Therapy

REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer

Summary:

Flow Therapy is hiring a Referral Development Manager (RDM) to cultivate relationships with physicians and allied health professionals to generate new business to local Flow Therapy clinics. The RDM is expected to manage the sales cycle, develop a strong pipeline of prospects, and manage existing accounts.

He/she must be familiar with a variety of medical terminology and field concepts, the workings of a cardiology practice, treatment modalities and procedures. He or she must work collaboratively with physicians and practice staff to implement referral development initiatives. The RDM will develop a sales plan with specific goals per quarter that align with Flow Therapy goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong physician relations and communication skills.
  • Understand marketing, financial and utilization sources of data to drive referral growth.
  • Develop relationships with local physicians and allied health referral sources to grow revenue.
  • Primary function is to grow revenue by increasing new patient referrals.
  • Providing superior customer service and support to referral sources while ensuring all tasks and activities are executed in compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding and knowledge of the local market while informing Flow Therapy of any market dynamics that may impact services.
  • Provide regular updates and communications, customer service issues, barriers and obstacles related to and affecting the referral process.
  • Update and maintain data in referral program database. Log all progress notes and pertinent information regarding communications and sales visits/ trends so information can be read and shared by staff as needed.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and community liaison to build reputation in and connection to the communities we serve
  • Work collaboratively with the corporate marketing team to execute local marketing campaigns
  • Provide weekly updates and monthly reports of referral activity to include tracking of referrals, number of referrals and projected pipeline to CEO and COO.
  • Collaborate and strategize to identify new opportunities, plans and tactics to garner new business.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all local events, MD meetings, receptions, and community events to promote clinic and generate activities to boost referrals.
  • Participate in professional development activities to advance skill set.
  • Local travel within the assigned geography/region is required.

Required Skills:

  • 2-3 years of Business to Business(B2B) required
  • 2-3 years working with Physicians.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral – with ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal skills and professional appearance required.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and time management skills a must
  • Self-starter is critical for long-term success
  • Good computer skills required with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Completion of and compliance with the Marketing and Business Development Functional Compliance Program.
  • Bachelor, or higher degree with concentration in Business, Marketing or Sales

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:
