Delaware Hospice is actively seeking a RN to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 8am-430pm covering New Castle County and Southern Delaware/Chester counties.

The Weekend Nurse functions under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor within the philosophy, objectives and policies of Delaware Hospice, Inc. and the philosophy and goals of hospice care.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current RN licensure in State of Delaware (must obtain RN licensure in State of Pennsylvania if hired), minimum of 2 years oncology, medical-surgical or home care nursing experience, BSN preferred. Must be able to bend, squat, drive for extended periods of time, lift and turn patients, able to lift 30 to 60 lbs, following industry standards and guidelines for safety and correct ergonomic practices. Employees involved in patient care may be exposed to blood, body tissue and fluids regularly and are expected to follow all health care industry safety guidelines indicated in our procedures manual. CPR certification required.
