Receptionist – Animal Clinic of Eagle Harbor – Carrollton, VA

We are currently looking for a full time receptionist who is personable and eager to help people care for their pets in the best way!

Our receptionist’s main priority is to answer all incoming phone calls. However, our receptionist will also be responsible for:

  • Making appointments for all clients
  • Processing invoices and helping clients if they have any questions about their charges
  • Organizing, scanning, and uploading files to client records
  • Escorting clients as needed into the building
  • Responding to all customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner, via phone calls and email

Our receptionist must have the following skills in order to efficiently assist our clients:

  • Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with clients, pharmaceutical reps, and other employees
  • Organizational skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly
  • Time management skills to prioritize and complete a wide variety of tasks throughout the day
  • Patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and interact positively with upset clients
  • Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all clients and their pets

We would like for our receptionist to have experience with working in customer service in a veterinary office setting or a pet needs facility.

A working knowledge of Cornerstone software is a plus, but not mandatory.’

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
