Job Description Summary
BRAND NEW FACILITY! Juliette Manor, opened in June 2016, this state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility replaced the former Juliette Manor in downtown Berlin.

PRIVATE RESIDENT ROOMS! Juliette Manor offers a home-like setting with 37 spacious, private rooms offering short term rehabilitation care, stable long-term care and memory care. Each room features wheelchair-showers and plenty of storage space.

The one-story facility organizes the three population types within separate wings with shared common spaces. Gabled roofs defining each wing, clapboard siding, local vernacular material, natural lighting, gardens, and exterior courtyards contribute to a homelike setting and is located on the campus of ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Berlin.

  • .9 (36 hours/week), 12hr shifts, every other weekend, 5:30am – 5:45pm or 5:30pm – 5:45am

The RN Clinical Nurse (Skilled) position provides patient-centered, specialized, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum through an inter-professional approach to treatment, research, education, and advocacy. The RN Clinical Nurse contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing and ThedaCare policy. It is through collaborative practice with members of the care team, is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by ThedaCare. And furthers the professional practice of nursing at ThedaCare by promoting a culture of innovation and a commitment to growth and professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain within five years. Associate’s Degree in Nursing accepted in lieu of BSN for those hired prior to 1/23/17. Current Wisconsin RN Licensure American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of Fifty (50) pounds without assistance • Job classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform patient care procedures

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock • Occasional high noise level in work environment • Standing and/or walking for extended periods of time • Transporting, transferring, positioning patients and/or equipment from one location to another; little likelihood for injury if proper body mechanics and procedures are followed • Possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents • Occasional contact with aggressive and or combative patients.
