We are seeking certified Nursing Assistants to serve seniors with compassionate, supportive care at one of Minnesota’s leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers.

Available Opportunities:

  • Part-time/Full-time 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., includes
    working every other weekend and every other holiday

  • Part-time/Full-time 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., includes working every other weekend and every other holiday

  • Part-time 10:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. includes working every other weekend and every other holiday

Location Information

Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person’s own home or in one of our five Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Robbinsdale, Shoreview and Woodbury.

One of the few post-acute care options located within a hospital setting, Transitional Care by Saint Therese occupies 32 private, skilled nursing rooms on the fourth floor of North Memorial Health Hospital. Cross-functional teams provide the very best in care to patients transitioning from hospital to home.

The Nursing Assistant (NAR) performs a variety of resident related direct care duties, such as transporting, transferring, toileting, positioning, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming residents, encouraging highest level of independence, validating residents’ concerns.

Special knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Resident centered thinking, with awareness & sensitivity to resident needs, interests & abilities
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and related software
  • Ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgments
  • Dependability, with the ability to follow direction
  • Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job
