Job Summary/Purpose: The COVID Laboratory Assistant Manager reports to the Director of Field Operations, Pandemic Response Team. This role has a dotted line to the COVID Testing Assistant Manager. Under limited supervision, the COVID Laboratory Assistant Manager is responsible for logistical oversight for all COVID testing and vaccine initiatives with laboratory involvement related to At-Risk and Back to Business initiatives. Potential for Travel Required 50-75%
Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor’s degree in a management or healthcare related field
- AND a Master’s degree or completion within three years
- AND three-five years of healthcare experience
- Preferred experience: Logistics, Operations, Outreach, Venipuncture, Specimen Collection and Handling, as well as Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and CAP laboratory standards
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Preferred Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt

Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand or at a distance.
