A Bioinformatics researcher at the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center (LCCC) is needed to be involved in analysis of DNA and RNA sequencing data, with a focus on immunogenomics analyses for developing biomarkers and novel therapeutics in immuno-oncology.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, medical informatics, bioinformatics, computational biology or a related computational field with at least 3 years’ experience required.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Relevant genetics, genomics, computational immunology, systems biology and/or biological experience. The candidate must have knowledge of a subset of the following: R, Python, C , Java, database experience with Oracle and/or MS SQL.
