Receiving Operator

Position: Receiving Operator

Shift: 2nd (M-F 3pm-11:30pm)

Pay Rate after Qualification: $21.82/hr + $0.35/hr shift differential, per LOL policy

Supervisor: Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

The Receiving Operator’s main function is to know and be able to complete all manufacturing requirements involving bulk unloading and inventory procedures on bulk ingredients. This includes the grain cleaning and cracking operations.

Please note:

This position will be assigned to work 12hr shifts to cover for absences This position will work overtime and weekends as assigned When operating hours are not needed for this position, administrative, training or cleaning duties will be assigned

Duties:

• Follow all plant policies and procedures, with respect to SAFETY.

• 
  Follow all plant policies and procedures, with respect to Quality.

• 
  Follow all plant policies and procedures, with respect to Attendance.

Receiving Operator:

• Responsible for product quality, product safety, and production results while operating the receiving, cracking and transferring system

• Perform quality tests as directed and required by the OneQMS Program

• Use RSView, JDE, Opti-Pak computer systems to perform job responsibilities.

• Be responsible for daily housekeeping duties. Each shift, keep all work areas clean and trash removed to appropriate areas.
  

• Communicate with Production on daily Bin Measurements and railcar movements potential.

• Communicate and work with the plant ILS representative for movement of incoming raw materials.

• Process all grains needed for usage in meeting customer demands according to Quality program specifications.

• Follow all Quality procedural guidelines when unloading products

• Communicate any equipment problems and down time to you supervisor immediately.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must have a safe plant work record Annual certification at the operating unit for quality functions must be completed annually Attention to detail is a must Must have experience with operating RSView, Opti-Pak, E1, EXCEL, EMAIL Ability to climb and work at heights Lift 50lb weight Pass forklift certification Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot problems, i.e. support maintenance activities Explain machine function and communicate with maintenance or supervisor when defects need addressed Strong math skills and attention to details a must
