LEAD CITRIX & VDI ENGINEER – Temple University Health System – Philadelphia, PA

Responsible for the leading the Citrix team in daily activities, projects and special assignments. Leads and plans the maintenance of systems that provide for delivery of client software and applications to end users locally and remotely. Develops standards, identifies and corrects problems, seeks opportunities for improvement, and proposes change. Develops and maintains cooperation and trust between team members and work groups by working collaboratively with all parties. Responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure in both physical and virtual, in a Windows and Linux environment. Recommends upgrades or enhancements that support the technical environment and meet TUHS business needs. Supports the Citrix infrastructure and hosted client/end user environments such as XenApp, VDI, Imprivata and application integration. Configures & manages the infrastructure and monitors performance of all systems to ensure availability of data, applications, and computing resources. Provides assistance to project teams with technical issues and provides on-the-job training to junior staff. Provides Tier 3 technical support and 24×7 on-call services for supported environments.

Education
Bachelors Degree : Computer Science or related field (Required)
Masters Degree: in Computer Science, Management or related field (Preferred)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience
5 Years experience with Windows Server Management (Required)
5 years experience with hands-on experience in Citrix administration (Required)
3 Years experience with VMware or Citrix VDI (Preferred)
2 Years experience with Netscaler or Load Balancer (Preferred)
3 Years experience in healthcare environment (Preferred)

License/Certifications
MCITP – Microsoft Cert IT Professional (Preferred) or MCSE – Microsoft Cert Solutions Exp (Preferred)
CITRIX – CITRIX Certification (Preferred)
VMCP – VMware Certified Professional (Preferred)
