The Industrial Electrician will identify, troubleshoot and repair problems in electrical and controls wiring that occur in production equipment.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Evaluates work order to determine scope and work procedures necessary to perform job.
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, and other electrical components.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
- Assists in the creation of a culture of safety and environmental protection by performing work safely, in accordance with departmental safety procedures.
- Operates equipment safely and reports any unsafe work or issues to supervisor.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Four years of general maintenance experience including carpentry, electrical, painting, and/or plumbing duties. Jobs related vocational training or other education may substitute for the required experience
- Thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions related to multiple building maintenance crafts.
- Knowledge of basic shop math applications.
- Read, interpret, and work from rough sketches, drawings.
- Ability to work in the following conditions: heat, cold, heights, temperature swings, outdoors, indoors, trenches, or around the following conditions: mechanical, electrical, explosive, fume/odor, dust/mites, toxic waste, chemical hazards and noise.

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
