We have a vacancy for a Clinic RN that will primarily work in our Summers Co. office in Hinton, W.V. but will provide some services at our site in Union, W.V. Selected candidate will perform the duties of a Registered Nurse to consumers with SUD, Co-Occurring and Behavioral Health diagnoses in an outpatient clinic setting. The RN will work directly with prescribing physicians to provide the most efficient use of physician time and services.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
- Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, collect UDS, phlebotomy etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
Skills
- Proven experience as a registered nurse
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
Position Requirements
- BS or AS from an accredited nursing program
- Valid WV nursing license in good standing & licensed to practice nursing in the State of WV
- Must clear all background checks
- Valid WV Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle
- Psychiatric experience preferred
