What You Will Do:
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with to provide medical services to patients in Howell.
Position Highlights:
- Provide primary care services at Byron Road Medical Group
- On average 15 patients per day
- The building has MRI, CT, x-ray, and lab onsite
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with some evening hours
- Rotate to other primary care offices within the Howell building when needed
- Office visits include follow-up visits, sick visits, women’s health, and medicare wellness visits
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Physician Assistant:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
- Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
- Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board Physician Assistants Task Force obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Nurse Practitioner:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
Education:
Physician Assistant:
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Nurse Practitioner:
- Master’s degree of Nursing required.
Work Experience:
- 1 year of experience preferred.
