Independence Rehab LLC is actively searching for a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our experienced therapy team at Solstice at Point Defiance in Tacoma, WA. We have a diverse, experienced rehab team that loves our patients!
A few specific job responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to determine physical condition and limitations.
- Create a care plan to accomplish desired goals
- Communicate with physicians and other health care providers to confirm plans of care
- Regularly advise facility staff, family members, and other supportive individuals throughout the patient care process
- Provide occupational therapy guidance, support and education during patient sessions
- Provide/instruct patients how to use adaptive technology/assistive devices
- Guide patients through graded activities
- Document patient care as directed by the Director of Rehab
- Supervise at least one Occupational Therapy Assistant
Requirements:
- Possess or qualify to possess an active Arizona OT license.
- One year of skilled nursing OT experience is preferred but we are happy to consider all applicants, whether new grad or experienced.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Authorized to work in the US
- Clean background check

Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
