We are looking for a dedicated patient transporter to join our hospital staff. Your primary responsibility is to move patients from their rooms to various locations within the hospital. Along the way, you should ensure they are comfortable and provide them with friendly companionship.
To be successful in this role, you should have good physical stamina and excellent time-management skills. Top candidates will also be great communicators who can uplift patients with their presence.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Radiology Technical Manager, provides assistance in the transportation of patients, processing x-ray film, perform clerical functions and other duties as required.
Reports To: Radiology Technical Manager or Manager of Transport
Supervises: None
Qualifications:
Licensure/ Certification/Registration: BLS Certification
Experience: Previous patient experience and/or hospital experience.
Facility Rate: $35/hr without benefits or $25/hr with benefits
Facility Type: Hospital
Contract Duration: 2 months with an extension possibility
Available Shifts: 11:00 am – 06:30 pm ( 40 h weekly; possibility of rotating weekends)
