This modern, high-end practice has served the Tucson community for over 40 years, offering a spectrum of vision, eye care services, and an expansive optical department. The professionals specialize in comprehensive eye examinations, pediatric eye care, cataract and glaucoma screening and specialty contact lenses. Fashion Eye Center has two locations conveniently located on East Broadway Blvd. and North Oracle Road. As a well-known business in the community, the practice is looking to add an Optometrist to help support and expand the patient base while providing excellent patient satisfaction.
Fashion Eye Center strives to improve the quality of life through enhanced vision; the practice leverages advanced diagnostic technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of ocular diseases. Behind-the-scenes optical technology includes autorefractors, Optos, and Matrix Visual Fields. A team of Optometric Technicians efficiently conducts patient workups and pretesting to enable a smooth practice flow, allowing the doctors to spend quality time with patients. Customers enjoy shopping at the Eye Shop, featuring a curated collection of top designer frames—plus, patients will receive personalized attention from the Opticians who assist in selecting the right frames for comfort, functionality, and personal style.
About the Optometrist Opportunity
Fashion Eye Care is seeking a well-rounded Optometrist who is efficient and can practice with precision to ensure excellent eye health and vision care for all patients. You’ll perform comprehensive eye exams, medical exams, and contact lens fittings—approximately 14 patients are cared for daily. The position is initially part-time, one to three days a week (flexible schedules), and offers paid malpractice insurance. If the position transitions full-time, the practice will offer medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k), and a potential future partnership opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside talented professionals to expand your skillset and care for special populations and a diverse group of patients.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, excellent patient communication skills, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. In addition, the ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
Minimum qualifications:
- Optometry license in the state of Arizona
