Hunter Family Vision is a growing private eye care practice in Leawood and Prairie Village, KS and is seeking a new front office team member! Our practice is a fun but yet professional team-oriented environment dedicated to exceeding patients’ vision and eye health expectations. This position is suited for a friendly, personable individual who helps deliver an excellent patient experience. Job duties include the following but not limited to:
– Welcoming patients to our office for their eye care appointments
– Answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments
– Entering patient information into an electronic health records system
– Answering patient questions and directing them to the clinic or optical for eyeglasses
– Verifying insurance benefits for patients and creating patient charts
– Receiving payments for services and products using a credit card terminal
– Ordering contact lenses for patients
– Directing patients through the office and assisting with the flow of appointments

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical scheduling: 1 year (Preferred)
