Unit Secretary, Full-Time, Days, ICU, Washington Twp., NJ – Jefferson – Gloucester County, NJ – Turnersville, NJ

This position is responsible to promote the mission, vision and values of Jefferson Health New Jersey. The primary focus of this role is a commitment to service excellence for internal and external customers. The unit secretary functions as a receptionist to the unit and plays a role in welcoming the patient and family to the unit. On the inpatient units, the unit secretary plays a role in introducing and encouraging the use of EPIC’s My Chart Bedside for patients and families. The unit secretary communicates with health care professionals to foster efficient unit operations with the ability to prioritize and accomplish a wide range of tasks.

Ability to read and communicate in the English language. High school degree or GED required. Basic knowledge of medical terminology required. Experience in customer service preferred. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills are essential. Demonstrated computer efficiency in Microsoft Office.
