Inventory Control Analyst – Patagonia, Inc – Reno, NV

The Inventory Control Analyst serves in critical role in helping the department ensure accurate and available inventory to support the Reno warehouse operations. This role will require the ability to perform daily, repeat functions like putaway and cycle count, while also having the flexibility to perform and assist on a diverse array of projects and functions. To be successful this person should be comfortable both working as part of a team and being self-motivated when necessary.

What You’ll Do

:

Utilize an RF scanner and WM to perform daily job responsibilities.

Sort and Put back to shelf Returns from Direct, Wholesale and Retail customers.

Perform scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts of Active and Reserve locations to ensure accuracy.

Collect and return to shelf mispicked and missorted units from Packing.

Re-label inventory due to mismarked tag, missing price or price change.

Support Specialist and Facilitator in the management and entry of no record and no location inventories.

Clean and organize Active floor locations, including moving inventory from Active to Reserve when overflow necessitates

Assist in the research of out-of-stocks by either locating lost inventory or determining the existence of count or system discrepancies and making necessary adjustments.

Act as an informational source to other departments regarding inventory levels or problems.

Collaborate with other departments on cross training opportunities.

Work with Department Manager and Swing Shift Facilitator each day to ensure you are kept informed of daily workload, goals and objectives, and announcements.

Provide frequent feedback to Department Manager as to ongoing issues or concerns.

Do your part to continually maintain a safe and clean workspace in and round the department, equipment and warehouse.

The Experience You Bring

:

WM Inventory transaction knowledge

1+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution center setting.

PC computer skills. Microsoft Word and Excel experience desirable.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 50 lbs. safely.

Ability to walk for extended periods of time.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to perform routine tasks for extended periods of time.

Hours

Sunday-Thursday 4:00pm-12:30am

Must be willing to work other days of the week if necessary.

Must be willing to work flexible hours as seasonal volume may affect the number of hours (higher/lower) necessary to complete the workload for the day.
