The Career Coach will work directly with internal team members, leaders, and career specialists on transfer opportuntities. As a Career Coach you will help team members investigage different roles within the company, educate them on different career paths, and help team members achieve their ongoing career goals at UWM!
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Review applications, resumes, UWM work history along with other information to determine candidate eligibility
- Conducting in-person interviews
- Providing advice and information regarding potential career paths within UWM
- Setting proper expectations with team members and leaders depending on various situations
- Monitoring and communicating progress on multiple hiring goals with team
- Building and maintaining relationships with leaders and team members across the company
- Posting and managing multiple open positions within company
- Ensuring expected classes are filled to capacity
- Collaborating with team and leadership to update our processes and innovate new strategies
- Partner with the Career Specialist on ensuring our team members have an elite experience in the application process
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- 1 year of recruiting experience is preferred
- High level of integrity while evaluating confidential information required for internal transfers
- Confidence in hiring decisions based on information gathered during interviews
- Advanced multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient time management skills
- High sense of urgency
- Elite client service skills while having difficult conversations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
