Drug Rebate Specialist – Madison, WI

Gain medical terminology expertise and work with manufacturers and providers to ensure that drug claims supporting the Medicaid program are accurately and completely processed. In this role you will:
- Perform processing and quality assurance review in of Medicaid Pharmacy claims.
- Interpret, review, and reconcile drug claim reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Research problems; interface with colleagues, leaders, and clients to resolve issues.
- Handle confidential data according to policy and guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year healthcare, insurance claims or pharmacy education or work experience
- PC literate. MS-Office proficiency
- Strong communication skills to collaborate and problem solve
- Strong organization skills to balance and prioritize work
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention-to-detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician certification
- Accounts Receivables/Billing experience
- Medicaid knowledge
