We are hiring a front desk receptionist for our facility in the southwest suburbs. The ideal candidate must have a pleasant personality and have the ability to work as a team player. Must have the ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions.
Approximately 25-28 hours a week
General Description/Position:
- Answering phone calls
- Obtaining patient’s medical history
- Scheduling appointments for multiple facilities
- Verifying patient’s insurance benefits and determining if pre-authorization is needed for the exam
- Greeting patients when they arrive and obtaining the necessary paperwork
- Performs other duties and tasks as may be assigned
Customer Service Expectations:
- Demonstrates competencies in customer service and an understanding of the SimonMed Imaging code of conduct and culture
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be computer literate
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients and the public
