Life Patterns withholds all applicable Federal, State and Social Security taxes for the individual worker as well as providing worker’s compensation insurance and liability and unemployment insurance as required by law.
Position Overview: Provide companionship and personal assistance to a person with a disability. Assist with meals and shower. Attend movies, bowling, community events. Feel the rewards of knowing that you are enhancing another person’s quality of life. SW Topeka near 24th & Fairlawn. Experienced or will train.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 60 – 80 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Acceptable background check
- Must be personable and able to work cooperatively as a team member
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions
- Must take CPR/First Aid (we pay) class if not already certified
Open Positions:
FULL TIME: Monday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Wednesday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Friday Noon-10:00 PM and Overnight to 7:00 AM
(You can sleep-just need someone to be there for night support in case the individual needs assistance)
37 hours per week. Qualifies for Health Insurance!
Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
