IKEA Houston is actively looking for permanent Food Operations/Service Coworkers to join our team. These are part time positions working 20-30 hours/week requiring full availability to work weekends. Daily Responsibilities include:
- You’ll be inspiring IKEA customers in the IKEA Swedish Food Market to cook and enjoy a modern taste of Sweden whenever and wherever they want!
- Maintaining the Swedish Food Market including merchandising and price communication.
- Using your IKEA Food knowledge to exceed customer expectations, confidently answering their questions so they can make informed purchase decisions.
- Stocking, inventorying, and rotating supplies in areas where Swedish Food Market products are sold.
- Following food handling, health, safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations and guidelines.
- Providing a friendly retail checkout experience by processing payments quickly and accurately.
- Promoting a safe and secure working environment for co-workers, guests and visitors.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience working with customers in a fast-paced environment; preferably in retail or food service
- Works well within a team oriented and collaborative work environment
- Strong customer service and/or selling skills with the ability to resolve customer concerns
- Passion for delivering results and ensuring a positive customer experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 – $15.00 per hour
