Job Responsibilities
- Remind clients to take medication
- Assist clients with standing/walking and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, social outings, etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Help clients with their exercises, activities and companionship
- Plan and prepare meals from scratch, sometimes with clients’ input
- Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
- Perform light housekeeping duties (tasks that need to be done daily/weekly like dishes and laundry)
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills and Requirements
- Caregiving experience: 1 year+ or CNA trained
- Basic knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Ability to perform light housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary restrictions (we will educate on special diets)
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful, prompt, and professional
- Good time management
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics – At Avionn, we always strive to do the right thing!
- Physical endurance – able to assist someone who can’t help themselves
- Driver’s License (Required)
- US work authorization (Required)

Pay: $13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
Supplemental Pay:
- Signing bonus
