Assistant Director of Nursing – Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center – Albany, NY

Position Title: Assistant Director of Nursing Services


Introduction:

Our senior leadership team is looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing to join the facility bringing his/her proven leadership skills and clinical nursing expertise to generate a forward thinking environment and execute our strategic plan.


Schedules Available:
This is a Full Time, Salaried, Exempt position;Weekends and overtime may be required.


Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist the Director of Nursing to establish objectives for the nursing department, identify resources, determine required tasks, prioritize actions, implement plans, and monitor feedback.

Analyzes quality metrics and quality measures and develops and implements plans to improve services.

Ensures all State and Federal legal requirements for care and professional standards are met.

Provide employee feedback on performance and conduct education or discipline as necessary.

Fill in for Unit Managers, Supervisors, Med nurses, or the Admission Nurse as needed.

Manage staffing with the assistance of the full time staffing secretary.

Must be able and willing to learn how to train nurse aides and become certified in infection control (training is paid).


Requirements/Qualifications:

Current unencumbered Registered Nursing license required. BSN preferred.

Must have a working knowledge of the Rules and Regulations governing long term care including, Bundled Payments, VBP, 5-Star Quality Ratings, the SOM, MDS, QMs, Casper reports, Interact, QIS, etc.

Must have 2-3 years’ experience leading a team.

Long term care experience highly desired.
