As an LPN in one of our Households you aren’t just stuck behind a medication cart passing pills and doing treatments, you are running the nursing operations of your shift inside the household and building lasting relationships with the residents you serve.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, oversees, and reviews service delivery and completion of nursing duties
- Receives and gives report to the off-going and on-coming shifts
- Performs assessments and completes documentation
- Assists with developing residents care plans
- Administers medications and treatments
- Conducts clinical rounds
- Encourages residents to be an active part of the household by participating in spiritual, social, physical, cognitive, and emotional programming
- Takes part in the resident-centered initiatives and culture change philosophy within the household
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program with a diploma or a degree
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Virginia; maintains license in active status
- CPR/AED Certification
