Who We Are Looking For

As an essential part of the patient-care team, our medical social workers impact our patients by providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and families when it’s needed most. Working in accordance with the plan of care, the medical social workers are responsible for psychosocial evaluations, ongoing counsel, bereavement services and community education outreach. Most importantly you’ll assist in creating meaningful experiences for your patients and their families. And just like all of our team members, we ask our medical social workers to uphold Agape Care’s core values and standards.

Qualifications:

  • A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care

  • Education:
    MS degree in social work from an accredited school of social work approved by the Council of Social Work Education

  • Licensure:
    Current state license as a social worker

  • Experience:
    2+ years of clinical work experience, preferably in healthcare or hospice

  • Required:
    Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.
