As our practice continues to expand, we seek a Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist willing to work in all areas of the lab including urinalysis with microscopic, hematology, chemistry and microbiology. Phlebotomy and computer skills are required. Candidates must be ASCP registered or registry eligible. Attributes for success include the ability to work independently, solid interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
In addition to the areas of responsibility mentioned above, the Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist follows laboratory policies and procedures in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements, maintaining all necessary records and documentation. A variety of tasks are performed. The Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The position involves various technical duties, decision-making and distribution of results. In doing so, the Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist provides quality service in a customer-service focused environment.
We are recruiting for both a full time and part time position. PRN opportunities also available. First shift day hours. Competitive compensation.
