JOB DESCRIPTION

We are searching for a National Medical Director to support the rapid, nationwide growth of our Sleep Division. This is a part-time, independent contractor position. The Medical Director will provide management, supervision, and oversight to Aeroflow to assure that the professional services and equipment supplied to our patients meets or exceeds accepted standards of care.

RESPONSIBILTIES AND DUTIES

Evaluate products and services to ensure they meet or exceed accepted standards of care.

Provide ongoing and periodic management, supervision, and oversight to Aeroflow to assure that any changes in the professional services and equipment supplied to our patients meets or exceeds accepted standards of care.

Review Aeroflow clinical policies and procedures and assist appropriate clinical staff as necessary to revise or create new policies and procedures.

Respond to all inquiries from Aeroflow clinical staff regarding policies and procedures.

Participate in regular meetings with Aeroflow management and staff on no less than a quarterly basis. If at all practicable, these meetings will take place in-person.

Provide insight and guidance to company leadership on best strategy for delivering sleep medicine services to patients.

Participate in public relations and/or marketing campaigns.

Facilitate partnerships and relationships with other physicians, hospital administrators, or other outside partners to increase growth of Aeroflow’s business.

Adheres to company policies regarding compliance and confidentiality.

Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by management.

Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality as well as confidentiality regarding company business.

Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.

Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION

Physician with a current and unrestricted license

Preference for physician who is board-certified in sleep medicine.

Currently licensed in all 50 states or having the ability to independently obtain required licensure within 180 days of hire.

Experience in tele-health preferred.

Strong communication skills and strategic thinking.
