Join our growing graphic design team, where you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects that cut across print and digital mediums. We’re seeking a graphic designer who will support client work for a range of service areas, which include energy-efficiency, environmental sustainability, drinking water, homeland security, public health, and transportation. You will also have the opportunity to support Cadmus corporate sales and marketing initiatives.

We’re seeking a talented, collaborative, and self-motivated designer to help deliver high quality creative products to our external client and internal sales and marketing teams. You will be responsible for all aspects of design, from concept to completion. You will also need to multitask, have a keen attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills in a high-volume, high-performance organization. The person in this position will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with more senior designers and be supervised by a senior marketing manager. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and is required. Video and web coding skills are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute project designs, working closely with other graphic designers, graphic design managers, and internal/external clients to review drafts, refine design elements, and deliver final products in print and digital formats
  • Take direction from project staff/clients, work independently, and complete projects following chosen design concept and brand standards.
  • Consult with clients on design approach, creative concepts, and final products.
  • Develop product time-lines, manage work under strict deadlines, and follow quality assurance procedures.
  • Package final files for print production and purchase of images as needed.

Qualifications:


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, computer arts, or related studies.
  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Experience transforming data into easily digestible infographics and presentation graphics.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent design, color, and typographic skills.
  • Strong creative portfolio that shows problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize competing demands.
  • Ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams and deliver high-quality work, often under tight deadlines.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen


Preferred – not required:

  • Familiarity with web development software, such as HTML5, CSS, XHTML, and WordPress.
  • Familiarity with email distribution systems, such as HubSpot and SalesForce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with video editing software, such as Camtasia, Adobe Premier, and After Effects
  • Understanding of Section 508 accessibility is a plus, but not required
  • Understanding of interactivity, usability principles, and web design
