Mercer is recruiting for an experienced Consulting Pharmacist.

The Consulting Pharmacist will work with a broad cross-section of specialist and generalist to do the following:
- Assess current Mercer solutions and suggest options/improvements
- Develop short/long term specialty strategy
- Review current vendor options and capabilities/complete market map
- Support review of specialty management clinical criteria
- Help set the frame work for direct to Pharma pilots
- Develop other options that can set Mercer apart

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Setting strategic direction and creates demand for new products/services in the marketplace and leads successful regional or national marketing initiatives
- Leveraging company’s size and reputation to negotiate highly competitive rates and coverage options from carriers and vendors
- Delegating effectively to provide developmental opportunities to team members
- Providing mentoring and coaching to direct reports and project team members.
What qualifications are necessary to have for the role?
- 7-10 years of Pharmacy Consulting experience, with exposure to pricing and pharmacy contracts
