Responsibilities


Job Summary:

The Supervisor of Volunteer Services supervises the daily operations of volunteer services programs in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Dignity Health. Coordinates volunteers to support multi-disciplinary teams and programs throughout the hospital. Supports volunteer services leadership in deploying initiatives as needed.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates, coordinates and supports the recruitment, onboarding and activities of the Volunteer Services department leadership
  • Tracks and documents regulatory compliance requirements and distributes department communications to the volunteers
  • Presents volunteer-specific orientation, training, competencies and continuing education.
  • Communicates with volunteers to ensure consistent scheduling of volunteers to support programs


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications:


Experience
: One (1) year of experience in office administration such as time management, computer operations, and internal and external customer service.


Education
: HS Diploma or equivalent.
