Looking for a dynamic and engaging Ophthalmic/Optometric technician to assist our Ophthalmologist in various procedures. We are a fast-pace Laser Center who is well known in our community for treating our patients like family. Come be a part of our growing Laser Center team.
Summary
The Ophthalmic Surgical Laser Technician assists the Ophthalmologist and staff with patient procedures and maintains patient flow. Responsible for administering ordered ophthalmic medications. Instructs patients in all aspects of pre and post-op care, as directed by the physician. The position is responsible for the ordering, stocking, and maintenance of all supplies, medications, and instruments. Excellent salary is dependent on experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of eye medications uses and care of instruments.
- Sterile technique and instrument processing.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- One (1) year of clinical and surgical ophthalmology.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in Ophthalmic technical/surgical experience.
- COA or COT.
