Why This Job Exists: Job Summary/Scope of Impact

This position will be a part of Risk Management group under TICF Finance Organization and will make impact by performing the risk analytics and risk governance support as a general risk analyst


What You’ll Do: Major Accountabilities

  • Risk Data Infrastructure:
  • Maintain and enhance SQL Risk Database
  • Support future BI data warehouse integration

Risk Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Maintain and enhance risk monitoring reports
  • Develop risk dashboard based on business needs

Risk Analytics:

  • Run and enhance risk models (forecasting and reserve models)
  • Prepare risk analysis presentation decks
  • Provide risk model development support
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support the business

Risk Governance:

  • Support Enterprise Risk Manager with ERM program initiatives

North America Risk Framework Support

  • Support Reginal risk management related activities

Who You Are: Experience, Training & Education


Experience:

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel (e.g. lookups, pivot tables, data source imports)
  • Exposure to analytical tools and software (e.g. SAS, SQL, Excel, and Access)
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization of Power BI is a plus
  • High degree of creativity, adept at problem solving, excellent teamwork skills and experience
  • Experience or college courses in a statistical analysis
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft products, Database Query Applications)
  • Experience in the financial services and/or risk management desirable


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, or statistics preferred
