- POSITION INFORMATION
- Position summary:
- The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is a licensed professional who will function independently, but provides care under the supervision of the Medical Director. They will plan, implement and evaluate treatment in accordance with patient care standards and physician order, as applicable. They will act as a liaison between the physician, patient and family, and collaborates with other health care professionals as appropriate. They may assist in the orientation of new employees, and may participate in hospital or department committees. They must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age groups, according to specific chronological age, developmental age and/or psycho-social maturity.

- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- State of Ohio graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Required length and type of experience:
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a physician office or hospital setting (experience in clinic setting a plus); Clinical skills required will be dictated by scope of services offered. Must have strong organizational skills and communication skills, with the general public, in person and on the telephone.

- Current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
