We’re currently looking for a Delivery Food Service Associate to support and operate a delivery-only platform.

All Day Kitchens partners with San Francisco and Chicago restaurants to help share their food through our network of satellite kitchens. We’re building the kitchen network of the future to enable restaurants to overcome the traditional barriers to expansion, reach new customers, and supercharge their businesses.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assembles and fires food according to instructions provided on food order slips and through virtual directions; verifies the quality and quantity of all orders.
  • Multitasks by preparing several different orders at once, ensuring that all items are made in accordance with customer instructions.
  • Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
  • Operates large-volume cooking equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Availability to open or close the kitchen. We need all crew members to be able to close: 7:00pm-2:45am.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.

Education & Experience::

  • High school or GED. Vocational school coursework in kitchen basics, such as food safety, preferred.

Required Skills & Abilities::

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of or ability to learn sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
  • Basic understanding of or ability to learn food-handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently and quickly. Our kitchen is busy!
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work independently and complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner.
  • Experience with delivery orders or using electronic order screens.
  • Will need a Food Handler’s Card
