Surgical Technologist II – Mercy Medical Center – Cedar Rapids – Cedar Rapids, IA

• Must meet Level I criteria

• Demonstrates knowledge of techniques used by various surgeons for various procedures

• Maintains technical skill level and adapts to changes in surgical technique and operative intervention modalities

• Demonstrates constructive approach during all interactions with staff and nurse manager toward the organization

• Completes work assignments on time/readily accepts assignments, as observed by nurse manager

• Demonstrates the required knowledge and technical skills to independently perform core and specialty obstetrical surgeries

• Possess knowledge of multiple types of equipment

• Possess knowledge of contents of at least on OB specialty instrument tray

• Adheres to and promotes patient safety practices throughout the patient experience

Schedule: Full Time, Variable/Rotating Shifts, 12 hour shifts, day and night shifts
