Our owning Physician is seeking a part-time or full-time Experienced Medical Scribe. We are a high volume office looking to add support to our team to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Role/Responsibilities:
- One-on-one support for our owning Physician.
- Working 10+ hours a day in a Pediatric setting.
- Accompany the healthcare provider into patient examination rooms in order to transcribe the patient’s history, physical exam findings, consultations, labs, X-rays, and other evaluations, as stated by the provider, directly into the medical record.
- Prepare plans for follow-up care, as directed by the provider
- Provide advanced support to the provider, including documenting phone calls, alerting the physician with labs/radiology reports are complete, grabbing faxes, etc.
- Our office hopes this will be a long term position for someone who is truly looking to grow and support our provider.
- Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
- Prior experience with eCW is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology is a must.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Must be adaptable and be willing to take constructive criticism.
- Must be able to adapt and prioritize items for the provider.
- Ability to move about and follow a healthcare provider for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to communicate and write in English.
- Has patience and likes to work with children.
- Must adhere to strict HIPPA policies and laws.
- Will follow all office policies including PPE, Code of Conduct, etc.
**Pay will vary with training and experience**

COVID-19 considerations:
All team members and patients are required to wear a face mask. We have separate sick and well time slots throughout the day. All team members must adhere to new state mandate of being tested 2x’s per week if not vaccinated.
