Account Executive, Outside Sales – DataServ Integrations, LLC – Columbus, OH

Summary of Position:
The primary focus of this position will be to work with the Sales Team to generate new and add-on initiatives. You will work with colleagues to develop processes, implement effective workflow and embrace best practices to support company priorities and business growth activities. This is a remote position.
Essential Functions:

  • Become familiar with DataServ policies and procedures
  • Represent DataServ in a positive manner to colleagues, customer base and vendors
  • Participate in lead generation, qualification, sales calls and demonstrations
  • Effectively and accurately forecast business opportunities
  • Successfully close business
  • Meet quarterly quota objectives
  • Successfully manage all assigned and new accounts
  • Work closely and coordinate activities with other sales team members
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in all areas of responsibilities
  • Ability to handle multiple customers, quotes, and projects at one time
  • Develop processes, implement effective workflow and embrace best practices
  • Provide redundancy and backup support for other team members
  • Be a supportive team member to others
  • All other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of our solution set, including but not limited to:
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery
  • Data Center/Private Cloud/Server/Desktop
  • Collaboration/ IP Telephony
  • Telecommunications Services/SIP/DIA/SD-WAN
  • Network Core and Wireless
  • Ability to successfully sell value-added services
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to proofread

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant prior work experience
  • Five years of sales experience, preferably in the IT industry
  • Experience with databases preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred
  • Experience with technology manufacturers (i.e. Cisco, Microsoft, HP, Dell, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours
  • Availability to work nights and weekends if required
  • Pre-employment drug screening required
  • Pre-employment driver’s license and background checks required
