COVID Vaccine Vaccinator ( PARAMEDIC, RN, or LPN) – Brewster/EasCare Ambulance – Massachusetts

Brewster/EasCare Ambulance Service is hiring Temporary Help, during the state of emergency set by the governor, COVID Vaccine Vaccinator for our COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics. This role will primarily be utilized to support mass vaccination efforts. Location: UMASS Dartmouth Wednesdays 07:30-16:30

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

• Medical credentials to administer vaccinations either independently or under the direction of a medical professional. (i.e. Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse)
• Please note: Massachusetts does not not take part in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). If you’re a nurse with an out-of-state license who wants to practice in Massachusetts, you must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing

Under the direction of the Director of Mobile Integrated Health you will be responsible for the following onsite:

• Taking/recording patient vital signs
• Administration of the COVID-19 vaccine
• Monitoring patients for adverse reactions
• Assisting as needed with patient registration
• Other duties as assigned
