THE NURSES GUILD is looking to find a star performer who is reliable, a self-starter and able to work with a team.
The “SCHEDULING COORDINATOR” is responsible for managing patient schedules for each caregiver providing home health service, as ordered by the physician. Collaborates with the Clinical Team to identify clinicians with the appropriate experience and skill set to match patient needs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and data entry duties of the agency and assisting the Clinical Team in the management of the team’s case load.
- Manage a group of clinicians’ schedules. Respond to questions; proactively provide information regarding patients, care plans, and productivity needs.
- Enter accurate information to support data integrity and maximize the likelihood of reimbursement.
- Resolve any unverified or missing visits as needed to ensure billing is processed in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Interact effectively with field clinicians, sales/marketing personnel, central intake, patients and other internal and external customers to meet patient scheduling needs.
- Create, maintain and update patient schedules according to physician orders.
Requirements include:
- Must have minimum 1 year of experience scheduling in medicare home health
- Exceptional organizational, customer service, communication, and decision making skills required
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulations governing OASIS visits, supervisory, and reassessment visits
- AXXESS scheduling system experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
