Job Description:

The Senior Portfolio Business Analyst (SPBA) position will be on our Clinical Intelligence team and working on the development of a new data acquisition platform. Candidates should have a high degree of subject matter expertise working with health care data, health care data interoperability standards, EHR technologies, and data modeling/mapping. This position is responsible for creating detailed data reference documents/dictionaries, making recommendations on how to align disparate data models/source systems, and serving as a lead researcher of various data standards, EHRs, and data transfer methodologies to aid the Technical Product Director (TPD)/Technical Product Manager (TPM) and Engineering leads in developing system design documents. Tasks required to fulfill job responsibilities include the ability to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, prioritize, author, and manage detailed requirement documents. SPBAs are expected to have a high degree of autonomy and have responsibility to ensure team members execute to create products and solutions that satisfy the needs of the business and vision.

Required Qualifications

Work Experience

4+ years of experience in the following:

• Business Analysis in healthcare industry
• In-depth knowledge and experience working with the healthcare data (clinical and claims), CCDS, USCDI, and HL7 standards 
• Works effectively with cross-functional teams, as well as independently
• Data integration, data mapping and solutioning experience 

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Experience to include:

• Knowledge of FHIR DSTU2, FHIR R4, USCore, USCDI
• Relational database and data modeling concepts
