The Associate Dentist will protect, promote & improve the health of all patients of Trimble Dental by diagnosing and treating problems with patient’s teeth, gums and other parts of the mouth. You will provide patients with preventative oral health services and ensure the proper recording of the evaluation of oral conditions, periodontal charting, medical history and accurate documentation of all treatment, treatment recommendations and future needs. The Associate will provide the patient with ongoing preventative oral care through patient education, treatment and treatment planning.

You are expected to complete the following:

  • Interact professionally with patients, coworkers, supervisors and outside vendors
  • Communicate with dental team members to ensure the patient receives exceptional care.
  • Positively promote Trimble Dental, including its Dentists and employees during and after regular operating hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet patient and develop relationship of trust, understanding and care.
  • Diagnose and treatment plan patient oral health needs.
  • Ensure patient understanding of treatment plan details, obtaining consent of services to be rendered.
  • Perform dental procedures diagnosed as necessary for patient’s oral and overall health.
  • Perform cosmetic dental procedures.
  • Ensure the accurate, timely and thorough documentation of all evaluations, periodontal charting, medical history and treatment, treatment recommendations and future recommendations.
  • Follow-up with patient to ensure excellent treatment and care beyond office visit.
  • Adhere to all required OSHA and health regulations

Required skills:

CPR, Radiology, OSHA

Education, Certification/License and Experience Requirement:

A license to practice dentistry
