HomeWell Care Services of Lake County and The Villages is urgently hiring for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), and Caregivers in Ocala. We have several clients in Ocala with shifts ranging from 4-12 hours (Examples: 7A-7P, 7P-7A).
We are looking for compassionate Caregivers/HHAs/CNAs to be a part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.
Responsibilities and Duties
Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Light cooking and cleaning
- 1-on-1 care
- Bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
- Transportation for appointments and errands
- Provide companionship and emotional support
Qualifications and Skills:
- Caregivers, CNA’s, or HHA’s with no less than 6 months of hands-on experience caring for seniors
- Proof of current TB testing (within the last 12 months)
- CPR certified
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
- Must have available reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Are mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
- Pass be able to pass a Level 2 background screening
