Our In-Home Care agency is looking for an upbeat, high integrity Client Care Manager/Supervisor to join our team in serving clients in the North Seattle/North Eastside region up to Snohomish/Everett area. Job Summary

The Care Supervisor is responsible for assuring client care meets and exceeds expectations by providing close supervision to clients and caregivers. Ideal candidate for this position is an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant with supervisory experience, an LPN, or a Social Worker with medical background. It is critical that the CCS is able to build and sustain trust with clients and caregivers and be able to establish a rapport with community referral sources in order for our agency to become their preferred agency when referring. 

The Client Care Supervisor will spend roughly 70% of their time working in our Woodinville office. The remaining 30% of their time will be in various client homes performing assessments or caregiver observations.

The usual business hours for this role will be Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, however this role will require some evening and weekends to meet job requirements. The CCS will also have On Call Duty in rotation with other ABS administrative staff.

This position will have moderate supervision.

Key Responsibilities of the position include (this is not a comprehensive list of duties) :

  • Perform intake calls and promptly follow up with prospective clients
  • Perform on-site assessments to initiate care and provide routine or semi-annual re-assessments to assure high-quality care is being provided and state regulations are being followed
  • Write care plans and ensure staffing supervisors have relevant information to review with assigned caregiver(s) prior to the start of care.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through continual communication and  home visits with clients, caregivers, and responsible parties
  • Assist in caregiver success through training and coaching, reviewing plan of care with caregiver, and doing supervisory visits
  • Work as a back-up to Scheduler and perform Scheduler’s duties in their absence.
  • Be on-call 1 week per month which includes answering after hour and weekend calls

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in similar clinical or home care setting (experience with the Senior and/or disabled population); 5+ years ideal
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Flexibility in thinking and schedule 
  • Ability to work well independently and with a team
  • Be a pro-active problem solver and be able to provide a high degree of professional and comprehensive communication
  • Must be an ambitious individual who can approach work with a positive, friendly and professional demeanor 
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Have valid WA driver’s license and insured automobile and be able to pass a criminal background check
