Certified Athletic Trainer – School Based
Shifts: Part time (.5, Monday – Fridays with occasional Saturday coverage. Evening hours to cover practice and events)
Duties: Certified Athletic Trainer is responsible for the management and provision of care of injuries to athletes participating in organized sports. Works under the supervision of a Physical Therapist/Physician. Coverage of home sporting events to care and supervise response to sporting injuries. Maintain injury records for all students involved in the athletic program. Develop and review emergency medical plans, participate in the development and review of school policies on return to play criteria, and provide prevention techniques as needed such as taping, bracing, etc.
Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited Athletic Training program. NATA BOC Athletic Training certification and appropriate licensure to practice in the state of WI are required. Must have a professional attitude and ability to be a team player.
